I made a few collages based off my hometown. This is my developed concept after moving away from home then coming back and learning more about my reality. Also, my developing concept of what America is to me. Not really an exact representation but it represents my sentiment for it.

A few months after I would end up taking a “Collage and Assemblage” class. Just as I had to reevaluate drawing, collages turned out to be a very fulfilling. I say this to say appreciating the smaller things about art helps me be ok with my progression.
